Inside AssetHub
Give the collection a little more meaning
Browse assets by folder and add inherited tags to sound folders so related files carry useful context.
The everyday friction.
A growing collection becomes hard to remember. Useful context can live only in the creator's head: which sounds belong to combat and which folder holds ambient options. Adding that context once should help the whole group.
A different way through.
AssetHub keeps folder browsing central. In Sounds, tags carry through to files and subfolders, describing a whole branch of the collection. Changing an ancestor's tags updates inherited context, while the information panel shows the selected asset and its available details.
See the idea take shape.
Three moments in the experience. Explore the intended flow below.
- Choose a sound folder
- Add a few meaningful tags
- Browse files with inherited context
Label a useful group
Apply context to a sound folder rather than repeating it file by file.
Carry context downward
Let nested audio files inherit tags from their parent folders.
Keep navigation familiar
Explore the collection through the folders you already understand.

Where it stands.
Good ideas deserve an honest description of where they are today.
Folder tag editing and inheritance currently belong to the Sounds module; a shared tagging workflow across every asset type is still outside this prototype.
