A private home for family life
Family life leaves a trail across photo libraries, group messages, calendars, and social feeds. An update makes the rounds, a photo gets buried, and the context becomes harder to find. Folwen is being built to give those everyday moments somewhere to belong.
The family is the starting point. A household has its own Family Space, with its own members and sharing choices. It can connect to other households without turning everyone into one enormous group. Being related, being connected, and having access remain separate decisions.
Over time, that space can become a record of family life as well as a place to share it. Folwen brings together a family feed, connections, people, and archive tools, with self-hosting and data portability part of the product direction. The aim is a home families can continue shaping for themselves.
