The reason behind Neighborhood Nightmare
Give the chaos someone to care about.
Something worth making.
A crowd of monsters creates pressure. A neighbor trapped on the other side of that crowd creates a reason to move. We're building around rescue because it makes the same street feel different depending on who needs help and what you're prepared to risk.
The B-movie setting gives us room to be inventive without losing that clarity. A familiar place, a ridiculous threat, and a handful of improvised tools can become a new premise every night. The aim is recognizable situations with surprising combinations.
The hometown brings those nights together. We want progression to open new possibilities and make survival feel shared. Every major system is being shaped around that relationship between immediate decisions, memorable people, and the place they return to.
The things that matter.
People give the run purpose
Rescue decisions should shape where you go and what you risk.
Ordinary tools, absurd situations
Build surprising combinations from things that belong in a garage.
Bring the night home
Connect the people you save to new possibilities in town.
