Keep voices, stories, and memories close

A voice carries more than the words it says. So does a remembered story, with the details and perspective that make it someone’s own. EverOn is being developed around those parts of personal history: the recordings, memories, and stories people choose to keep.

The project brings together voice enrollment, personalized story creation, and a chronological memory timeline. Its longer view reaches across generations, while the work today is focused on the software that can collect, organize, and make something useful from those contributions.

Consent is part of that work. A recording should not become permission for every possible use, and a tool that works with a person’s voice needs clear choices around access and participation. EverOn is an evolving development project, with voice synthesis still experimental and the wider legacy platform a direction being explored.

Every project starts somewhere.

Keep the person in the personal history

An archive can hold many files without making a life easier to understand. Stories give recordings context. A timeline helps connect one memory to another. A familiar voice can give the same words a different meaning. EverOn brings those ideas into one product direction.
