Inside EndToEnd
Bring the group and the files along
Extend encrypted conversations to group messages, replies, and shared attachments.
The everyday friction.
Real conversations move between people and formats. Sharing a photo or document should keep the same privacy boundary around its contents. Membership changes also need to be reflected in how later messages are sent.
A different way through.
EndToEnd supports group messaging with libsignal sender keys and encrypted attachments. File keys travel inside the encrypted conversation. The protocol describes sending-key rotation as membership changes, while the chat keeps files and replies in the conversation they belong to.

Where it stands.
Good ideas deserve an honest description of where they are today.
Group membership is still provided by the relay, and this build does not include calls or MLS.
A conversation sealed before it leaves
Send direct messages through an encrypted session established after a friendship is accepted.
